Bergstrom Cumberland Reserve Pinot Noir 2019

One of our favorite Pinots here at OlyWines, this barrel blend from the Willamette Valley's Bergstrom Wines has also earned sky-high reviews among critics (93 - Wine Spectator; 94 - Wine Advocate;; 92 - Wine Enthusiast). Characterized by crunchy strawberry, raspberry, red beet, and cherry flavors atop a mineral frame, notes of candied fruit, woodsy herbs, and violets make for a complex bouqet in what the winemaker calls a "very fun, and very serious" wine. We agree.

Try with fatty poultry like duck or goose; fall flavors like squash soup, hazelnuts, and roasted root vegetables; or go against the grain and serve it with (preferably Pacific Northwest) salmon.
