A Globe-Trotting Wine Tasting Adventure Event

Oly Wines is excited to welcome Alena Truong Jose, an acclaimed wine expert, for a special wine tasting event on October 25th. Alena, certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas (Level 2), holds a Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and is a certified French and Italian Wine Scholar. She has refined her expertise at top restaurants across the U.S. and now works with Vineyard Brands, which represents over 25 family-owned, estate-bottled wineries from around the world. Vineyard Brands emphasizes low-intervention, sustainable wines that embody the essence of their terroirs.

Founded in 1973 by Robert Haas, Vineyard Brands has been a leader in sustainability, with most partner wineries practicing sustainable, organic, or biodynamic farming. Ed’s relationship with Vineyard Brands goes back two decades, stemming from his time in France selling wine to Robert Haas while exporting Bordeaux wines.
