Zinfandel, or Primitivo in Italy, is a hearty red grape varietal that is one of the nation’s sweetheart wines cherished for its medium weight and spicy flavors when done correctly as in this bottling from Alexander Valley Vineyards (AVV)!  We have lots of return customers for a wine of this caliber.  AVV has a long history with Zinfandel in Sonoma County.  We absolutely love this winery and its rich history of great winemaking in Northern Sonoma, California.  What you will find is elegant red with ‘jammy’, spicy red fruits long and satisfying on the palette.  Ideal for red meat.  It will traverse many of the different flavors that abound at a brunch!  This particular wine has been recently recognized by the wine industry media as a great example of California Zinfandel.  We love it.  Always available here…
