Alexander Valley VYDS has been planting grapes, making wine and never made a Sauvigon Blanc in 30 plus years. This is a new wine from a favorite winery and this Sauvigon Blanc is textbook. Flashy. Flashy fruit. Racy acidity. This is a great reminder to not confuse California white wine with Chardonnay – great Sauv. Blanc is produced here too! Packed with tropical fruit  and citrus.
