ALTO MONCAYO 2021 Garnacha 'Veraton' (Campo de Borja, Spain)

What a wine! This is full bodied, rich Grenache from the home of Grenache (Campo de Borja), in Spain. This windy, high elevation DO is known for its quality old vines. The grapes for this bottle are from vines that range from 30-50 years old, which translates to concentrated flavor in the glass. Beautifully balanced, it has deep notes of blackberry, raspberry, dried fig, iron and vanilla. Smooth tannins and a long finish made this glass a great wine to sip the night away with.
