ALVARO PALACIOS 2023 Priorat 'Camins del Priorat' (Spain)

Located just inland, on the East Coast of Spain, Priorat is a very unique wine growing region. Here, high elevations and harsh licorella soils (soils of reddish-black slate with sparkling bits of mica quartz) give wine power and depth. This Priorat is made from a fairly typical blend of Garnacha, Carinena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Expect a wine that is full-bodied and complex, with layers of dark fruit, spice, and minerality. The wine's silky tannins and vibrant acidity lead to a long and elegant finish.
