ANDRE BRUNEL 2015 Cotes du Rhone BLANC 'Becassone' (Rhone, France)

A white blend of the local Roussette, Clairette & Grenache Blanc varietals.  What incredible value from a wine region rich in values!  A must try because white Rhone wines are exciting.  Ahem, so are the reds!  Ask about them…  The winery of ANDRE BRUNEL offers a variety of finely-tuned wines from their own winery and as ‘negociants’ (French for wine shippers, or exporters).  Negociants buy bulk wine & assemble (blend) the wines according to their house style.   

This aromatic white is medium-bodied, fresh white wine with notes of ripe peach, summer melon, honey and a touch of balanced minerality.  So, more in the tropical aroma realm and less citrus.  This will be exacerbated with bottle age if you take it home and consider it for November, or thereabouts!
