100% local Nebbiolo clone "Chivanesca" from the Northern Italian alpine region Lombardy. ARPEPE is a family of winegrowers that have been devoted to the cultivation of Nebbiolo for 150 years. All grapes are hand harvested high in on the alpine slopes usign heroic harvesting techniques. 

Stella Retica is a super elegant expression of Valtellina Superiore on the Sassella subzone; a single vineyard from terraced vineyards which is aged for 24 months in oak and chestnut barrels. Clear ruby red with fresh aromas of red berries, violets & eucalyptus. Subtle tannins & balanced acid.
