BANFI 2022 Chianti Classico 'Sangiovese Blend' (Tuscany, Italy)

One of the great consistent, Italian producers of great Tuscan wine.  BANFI is American-owned and also presided over by an American woman.  This is Chianti in its purest form, primarily Sangiovese, a reknowned red wine varietal.  Chianti Classico is a reference to the orginal six villages that were Chianti many years ago.  Enjoy as a glass of heartly red wine or marry with meats & casseroles.  Well-balanced red with fine tannic structure.  One finds aromas of red fruits, cherry & plum.
