BELISARIO FUSO 2021 Verdicchio di Matelica 'Le Salse' (Marche, IT)

  Belisario 'Le Salse' 2021 is a medium-bodied, 100% Verdicchio white wine from the high altitude vineyards of Cantine Belisario in Matelica, Marche, Italy. All fruit that goes  is grown organically and sustainable. The wine's name comes from the Jurassic raised sea beds where the vines are grown, and "salse" comes from "sale" (salt), which refers to the vineyards' proximity to saltwater springs.

 Juice is vinified in cement and/or steel and lightly filtered upon bottling, leading to a fresh, acid-driven cuvée marked by flavors of tangerine, lemon zest adn green appple with subtle hints of bitter almond.
