Tempranillo is also known locally as 'Tinto Fino' in the Ribera Del Duero, a wine producing region west and slightly south of Rioja. With less oceanic influence, warmer days and cooler nights Tempranillo thrives in a different way than in Rioja. It tends to be a bit more powerful & full. PROTOS ages this wine in French and American oak for one year. Expect a round and velvety palate, red fruit, spices, and good tannins.
