BOLLINGER Brut NV 'Special Cuvee' (Champagne, France)

Since 1829, Champagne Bollinger has been making great wines with a powerful, refined and complex style, expressing the aromas of the fruit in all its dimensions.

This is BOLLINGER'S “Special Cuvée”, or “non-vintage brut.”  The 'Special Cuvée' was truly very… special.  It bears out the House’s hallmark know-how and ability to recreate year after year a wine with a consistency of style and quality.

The 'Special Cuvée' is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations. It is moderately dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per liter.

Brioche.  This is a fuller-bodied Champagne from one of the great wine houses of the Champagne region.
