BUSSOLA 2019 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico (Veneto, Italy)

One of our favorite and most noble wines: Amarone. This is a classic blend of 35% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 5% Molinara. Amarone's special secret lies in the fact that the grapes are laid to dry out for a period of time before press, so that the sugar concentrates and yeilds a powerful, full wine in the end. This wine ages for 48 months. Subtle yet rich notes of orange zest, chocolate, dried plum, cherry preserves, a variety of spices, hay, cumin, and tobacco.
