CENTOPASSI 2024 Rosso 'Giato' (Sicily, Italy)

CENTOPASSI represents one of our favorite stories in the store. They are a cooperative that cultivate Sicilian grape varietals on confiscated mafia land. The growers that are part of this are passionate about their land, and recovering the not only the territories in general, but also the native Sicilian flora. The goal is to stimulate sustainable economic growth for the generations to come through this project. 

Made of 70% Nero d'Avola and 30% Perricone. Perricone is a native Western Sicilian grape that offers fullness, color and robust tannins to a blend. The resulting wine is full of blackberry, dark plum & black peppercorn spice notes. Smooth and great with dinner.
