CHATEAU LARIVEAU 2017 Canon-Fronsac 'Le P'tit Canon' (Bordeaux, FR)

So many of you love the CHATEAU LARIVEAU, we thought we'd introduce his little brother - second wine - from this property.  Here it is.  100% Merlot from a vintage made for easy consumption.

The appellation (place) of Canon-Fronsac is aptly called Canon Fronsac as it was a canon volley's distance to shoot into the English fleet sailing up the Dordogne River into the heart of Gascony.

No wood barrels used in ageing.  All 'tank' meanig vat fermentation & ageing as well both in tank.  Drink with hearty fare of meats & casseroles - foods that stand up to the silky tannins inherent in the 2017 vintage in general.
