CORA 2024 Montepulciano D'Abruzzo (Marche, Italy)

If this isn’t the classic Italian red wine made for great food we are failing you!  Yum.  100% Montepulciano, a plump red wine varietal, fermented in stainless steel to accent the inherent fruitiness.  The importer (David Bowler), an American, continues to source perfect wines at inexpensive price points.  This wine is no exception, again. 

CORA Montepulciano is dominated by concentrated dark fruit — blackberry, plum, and black cherry — with supporting notes of bitter chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, and a distinctive herbaceous edge. The texture is fleshy and smooth with firm tannins and medium acidity.

Drink with your pasta dishes or other hearty fare.
