Saint-Veran is a village in the Maconnais region of Burgundy, and it bumps up against the esteemed Pouilly Fuissé. This area grows ONLY white wine - Chardonnay. This means that they have mastered it, quite frankly. This is a great price for Burgundy white, and thus a great way to try Burgundy white.
