DINEEN VINEYARDS 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Yakima Valley, WA)

DINEEN is as prominent grape growing family turned winemakers, as of the last couple of years. Maureen Dineen, daughter, is leading the estate's efforts to become a prominent winery soon. This Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend from two different sites, is aged in 40% new French Oak & 60% second-use French oak for 21 months. The resulting wine has lots of dark red fruit character (black cherry & Italian prune), as well as hints of chocolate, pink peppercorn, vanilla & baking spices. Its savory, smooth, and well balanced. Drink or hold. Try it with steak, blue cheese, or a dessert featuring dark chocolate.
