This is a fruity Grenache forward blend from the Rhone, France. It features 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Carignan. This is almost a classic 'GSM' (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) from Rhone, with the substitution of Carignan for the Mourvedre.
It is inky purple-black color, loaded with black fruit notes, tobacco and hints of eucalyptus. Concentrated, but balanced by a bright acidity to keep it fresh. Great value for price here.
