DOMAINE HUET 2022 Vouvray Moelleux 'Le Haut Lieu' (Loire Valley, FR)

DOMAINE HUET. First and foremost, one of the greatest producers of Vouvray. Period. I had the pleasure of spending a full day with Gaston Heut before his passing and learned more about the region and its wines in one day with him than in weeks living in the region. This is THE master of Chenin Blanc, especially in its off-dry (sweet) versions of this finesse. A sweet Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, in the Loire Valley. 

'Moelleux' loosely translates to soft, suave, or mellow, which is reference to the soft sweetness in the wine.
