DOMAINE MARCHAND & FILS 2023 Pouilly Fume 'Les Kerots' (Loire Valley, FR)

100% Sauvignon Blanc from a multigenerational winemaking family.  Their winemaking history in Pouillly-Fume indeed dates back to 1650. You may have heard us lovingly referring to the Sauvignon Blanc's of Pouilly Fume as "poor mans Sancerre" in store. While P-F is just east and slightly south of the famed Sancerre region of the Loire Valley, its soils are strikingly similar. The signature flint and mineral backbone of the French Sauv B. are found in this wine at a much lower price than Sancerre.
