FAMILLE OGEREAU 2023 Anjou Blanc 'En Chenin' (Loire Valley, FR)

This is Chenin Blanc (grape varietal)  from the spiritual home of Chenin Blanc - the Loire Valley. A stone's throw from the famous Vouvray AOC, Anjou has a reputation for great, crisp Chenin that can be dry or sweet. The particular bottle is made in a dry style, from 40 year old vines on the OGEREAU estates. Manuel sorting takes out any grapes that may be over-ripe, making for a bold and crisp, dry, high acid wine. We love all things Chenin, and this is a great example of it.
