GRGICH HILLS 2019 Zinfandel 'Estate' (Napa Valley, CA)

Mike Grigich's name may ring a bell. Maker of the Californian white that famously scored above a French Burgundy in a blind tasting in 1979, dubbed the "Paris Tasting." 

This Zinfandel (red), made by Grgich is fruity & brims with inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blackberry intermixed with hints of cranberry and blood orange. Graceful and soft on the front palate, lively tannins add luscious texture. Perfectly integrated acidity. Long finish reveals spicy undertones. Age-worthy.
