Valpolicella is a Northern Italian gem that will appeal to Beaujolais and Pinot Noir lovers alike! Young, juicy and fresh (yet dry). 

The most ancient traces of grapevine cultivation in Valpolicella date back to the 5th century B.C. The estate vineyards of GUERRIERI RIZZARDI are  positioned in Negrar within the “classico zone” of Valpolicella (historical). Here, a cluster of small valleys, where vines, olives, and cherries thrive. An excellent climate influenced by the mountains and nearby lake Garda lends itself to perfect vin growing conditions. 

Corvinone & Corvina 50%, Rondinella 30%, Merlot 10%,  Croatina 10% 

Black pepper and dark cherry character, medium body, structured but smooth with a complex savoury finish. Serve with meat sauce pasta; roast meat; veal with tuna sauce; spinaches soufflé; salami and cold pork meat.
