GUERRIERI RIZZARDI 2024 Soave 'Cuvee XX' (Veneto, Italy)

‘Soave’ (swa-vay) is a gem of Northern Italian white wine. It is best known for its mineral driven medium body, its flavors of melon, tangerine & almond skins, and for its age-ability. Soave is the name of the medieval village this wine comes from. Here, old castles and ruins still sit upon the ancient volcanic soils. It is just to the East of the more famed Valpolicella region, where red wine is produced. The wine is made from the grape ‘Garganega.’
