GUSTAVO RIFFO 2022 Moscatel 'Apelo' (Itata, Chile)

100% Muscat d'Alexandria from Valle del Itata, Chile. It spends 2 months on skins in old clay amphora, translating to notes of clay and earth on the palate.  Medium bodied and dry, layered notes of of tangerine and pear, dusty flowers, hints of saline, bright acidity. Soft tannic grip makes this an approachable orange wine. Organic, Biodynamic.

Pair with smokey foods and / or cheese.
