IOPPA 2023 Vespolina 'Coda Rossa' (Colline Novaresi/Piedmont, Italy)

Vespolina is the red wine varietal employed to make this wine.  Vespolina is a secondary player in the Northern part of the Piedmont region, where it is blended with Nebbiolo to lend more body and color.  IOPPA presents a single varietal bottling here, showcasing the strength of the grape. Deep ruby / purple in color with flavors of violet, red fruit, balsamic and graphite.
