Blend of Monastrel, Cab Sauv and Syrah from 50 year old dry farmed vines. Monastrel provides bold fruit flavours to balance the earthy notes from the Cab Sauv and Syrah. Each varietal is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels separately before blending

Expect explosive aromas of ripe currant, red berries and smoked notes. Rich, powerful & silky smooht. Fine, ripe tannins, at once supple and structurally present. Long finish.
