KIR-YIANNI 2021 Xinomavro 'Cuvee Villages' (Naoussa, GR)

If you haven't tried Xinomavro (pronounced zee-no-mav-ro), it's time! This is wine of great value from Naoussa, in Greece. Altitude and unique soil give this native grape varietal lots of structure alongside red & black fruit and spice notes. It is often compared to Nebbiolo for its age-ability. 

Garnet red, typical color to Xinomavro. Vibrant red and black fruit on the nose, with aromas of strawberry, cherry, and plums. A crisp and fruit-forward mouth with delicate notes of sweet spices and tobacco. Medium body with good acidity and smooth tannins adding structure and leading to a pleasant finish.
