KUMEAU RIVER 2024 Chardonnay 'Village' (Aukland, NZ)

It is commonly known in the wine-world that NZ's first Master of Wine, Michael Brajkovich, is making Chardonnay in NZ that is on the same stage as classic Burgundian Chardonnay. His passion is to show how great wine can be from his home, in Kumeau. This particular Chardonnay is the entry point for KUMEAU RIVER, a multi-vineyard blend of Chardonnay. Taut and focused, with notes of oyster shells, apple & peach. 

His wines are almost always sold out, and this is a great one to get to know his style of winemaking.
