LAPOSTOLLE 2023 Carmenere 'Cuvee Alexandre' (Chile)

This is one of our favorite expressions of Carmenere, from one of the two French family's in Chile that are making fantastic old-world style wine there. LAPOSTOLLE has deep roots in Chile, where they like to showcase the unique terroir of Chile using classic French winemaking techniques. Made of the Carmenere grape, which is considered the lost grape of Bordeaux. Now, Carmenere is one of Chile's foremost red grapes, and rarely found in Bordeaux. Expect full body, velvet tannins, dark fruit and hints of oak influence.
