LAPOSTOLLE 2021 Clos Apalta 'Le Petit Clos' (Apalta, Chile)

From the BOURNET-LAPOSTOLLE family in Chile, this is a classic French style blend with a distinct Chilean twist. It is a Bordeaux Blend featuring 68% Carmenere - a varietal previously found in Bordeaux that is now the premier red of Chile. The blend also includes 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc.

It is fermented and aged in French oak (37% in new French Oak and 63% in second use French Oak). Expect a rich, classic red wine with full body, black fruit notes and spicy aromas.
