MAISON LES ALEXANDRINS 2021 Crozes-Hermitage 'Syrah' (Rhone, FR)

This is Syrah made from a blend of grapes from the granite slopes in Northern Rhone, as well as from alluvial planes in the South. Vines are planted on the due-southern facing slopes that benefit from the Mistral wind. This is a strong, cold wind that blows over the Rhone. It is aged in 60L barrels for 10 months. Well balanced & structured, this wine has notes of small berries, black pepper and licorice.
