MAISON LES ALEXANDRINS 2021 Crozes-Hermitage 'Syrah' (Rhone, FR)

Syrah from the granite slopes to the North, similar to those in Hermitage, as well as the alluvial soil to the South. Vines are planted on the due-southern facing slopes that benefit from the Mistral wind. Most of the fruit for this wine comes from those alluvial plains to the South. The Syrah is aged in 60L barrels for 10 months. Well balanced & structured, this wine has notes of small berries, black pepper and liquorice.
