MAN FAMILY WINES 2022 Pinotage 'Bosstok' (Cape Coast, South Africa)

Three married men took the fist inital of each of their three wives to come up with 'MAN'!  Pretty smooth - so is the wine!  The red grape varietal of Pinotage is a cross between Cinsault & Pinot Noir.  It is often referred to as South Africa's indigenous varietal and is certainly the country's signature red varietal!  MAN Pinotage is a deep red wine with smoky, bramble and earthy flavours.

'Bosstok' is Afrikaner (language) for a head-trained/non-trellised vine, otherwise known as 'Gobelet' in French.  These are free-standing vines unattached to any row wire.
