PODERE RUGGERI CORSINI 2020 Albarossa 'Autenzio' (Piedmont, IT)

The Albarossa grape variety was created in 1938, in Piedmont. It is the result of crossing the famed Nebbiolo with Barbera. The result floors us; it is high in alcohol yet smooth, with fresh and balancing acidity. Intense ruby with violet shapes, rich and complex with fruity, floral and spiced tobacco armomas. It's rich, it's rare, and we love it. 

This wine spends 12 months in Slovanian Oak. Grapes come from Monteforte a'Alba, withingthe Barolo DOCG.
