PRINCIPIANO 2020 Barolo 'Serralunga' (Piedmont, Italy)

Principiano is a historical name in Barolo; their land holdings date back to the 1700s, yet wine became their main focus in the 1990s.  This comes from organically farmed, 30+-year-old vines, high up in the Serralungan hills (1000 feet above sea level), and it’s amazing value the price. Tar, roses, leather, pine resin, and a hint of mint. Hint - decant this one.
