RADIKON 2022 Bianco 'Sivi' (Friuli, IT)

This is 100% Pinot Grigio from Friuli, a small Northern Italian area that borders Slovenia. This is not your grandmas Pinot Grigio - deep copper in color, it is indicative of the deeply colored skins of the pinot grigio grape. Radikon has a cult-following for making white wines with skin contact. 

The Sivi is expressive, super fruity, lightly salty, and has a gentle astringency - like black-tea.
