SICHEL 2022 Margaux (Bordeaux, FR)

We love a good price / quality ratio here, and the wine in this bottle, from this terroir, shows incredibly for its price.  This 2022 bottling is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (45%) & Petit Verdot (5%). Aged 6-8 months in French oak. 

Here is the story on the Sichel Margaux.  It's a five brother (Sichel) story from one of the best wine families in the region of Bordeaux.  The story goes that this wine is a blend of a wine composed from their family-owned wine estates: the prestigious Chateau Palmer, Ch. Angludet and another very prominent Margaux estate - all in the village (appellation, or place).   So basically this is a “village” Margaux from 3 estates which the brothers named after themselves.  Two more bits to share with you: buy this vintage of 2022 wherever you can + this is a high-quality (& half price) wine from a prestigious wine appellation in the Medoc region of Bordeaux.
