SONDER 2023 Grenache Blanc (Columbia Valley, WA)

Hello Sonder! The winemaker, Riley Miller, is an Olympia native. The 2022 Sonder is an excellent example of Grenache Blanc, which is rarely seen as a standalone grape outside of blends. It is a Rhone (Southern France) grape varietal. 

In the glass,  you'll find notes of apple, stone fruits & tropical fruits with mineral stone notes.  Spicy hints of fenugreek are accompanied by subtle almond, that balances the wine’s natural creaminess. Medium alcohol levels and lees aging give it a dash of creamy complexity, which is further balanced by lemon zest on the long finish.
