SPERI 2020 Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 'Sant'Urbano' (Veneto, Italy)

A premium Amarone offering - this is a noble, full bodied wine from the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Amarone della Valpolicella is unique, in that the grapes used for this wine are dried so as to concentrate flavors, before pressing the wine. The result is a plush adn full bodied, complex dry wine.  Drink or hold. "A fresh, lightly exotic nose, offering dates, figs, fresh earth and a hint of toasted coconut. On the palate there’s a fresh, focused bead of ripe and dried fruit, riding equally intense, firm tannins. Long finish." - James Suckling
