SPERI 2023 Valpolicella Classico (Veneto, Italy)

This is a young red, fresh red wine that showcases its terroir (its sense of place) exceptionally well. Valpolicella is the Italian wine region famous for its red blends - from Valpolicella Classico like this one to Amarone. 

This is the youngest, juiciest iteration of Valpolicella from the historic Classico region - meaning the area within Valpolicella that has been deemed as the heart of Valpolicella production. Ruby red color with purplish highlights and an intense, vinous bouquet, with hints of violets and cherries. A medium-bodied, fruity wine, to be enjoyed young.
