ST. INNOCENT 2021 Pinot Noir 'Temprence Hill Vineyard' (Willamette Valley, OR)

Temperance Hill Vineyard is a cool, high altitude, windy site on volcanic soils within the acclaimed Eola-Amity Hills AVA. The soil effect is clear in its nose, resplendent with red and dark red fruits, followed by broad ground spice aromas that come from afternoon cool winds. The mouth begins moderately and then ramps up with loads of sweet tannin, pungent dark flower petals, allspice, clove and nutmeg. It is clear that more is hidden in its youth and I expect this to age beautifully.
