Wow! This interesting Sangiovese from STOLPMAN uses the technique of 'carbonic maceration' - where grapes are individually fermented. This technique produces a wine that is fruity & low in tannin (astringency). 

 Sangiovese as a grape, is both highly tannic and high in acid – a one-two combination that often creates a rough, rustic profile when drunk young.  Carbonic Fermentation doesn’t extract the Sangiovese’s tannin, instead making a lighter and fruiter red. This is ready to drink young - and maybe with a chill.
