This is 100% Nerello Mascalese from the deep volcanic soils Mount Etna. Vines are 50-100 years old here on the Northern Slope at 700-750m above sea level. It is aged 16-18m in wood. This wine is both exciting and unique, from these incredible volcanic soils.
