THE WALLS VINEYARDS 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon 'Curiositas' (Red Mountain, WA)

The WALLS 'Curiositas' is not only one of THE WALLS flagship wines, but it is also one of Oly Wines original offerings. This wine has been on our shelves since I opened the store, as a great representation of Red Mountain and of Washington. 

The 2020 vintage features a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Cabernet Franc. The fruit comes from multiple vineyards in the Red Mountain AVA, allowing the winemakers to show the essence of the area. 

100% free-run juice is aged in 75% new French oak large format vessels (read: oak influence is present but balanced well). This is a big bold red for big bold WA red lovers: notes of redcurrant, creme de cassis, crushed stones and pencil shavings. Elegant and streamlined with a long finish. Decanting will reward you.
