TOR DEL COLLE 2020 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 'Riserva' (Italy)

This is a 100% Montepulciano (grape varietal) from the central Italian region on Abruzzo. Not to be confused with Sangiovese from the Northern Italian place Montepulciano.

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is full bodied and dry, a great wine to have with pizza, pasta, or any meats. Anticipate aromas of ripe black cherries, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by hints of spice, tobacco, and earthy notes. On the palate, full-bodied with firm tannins, well-integrated oak, and a long, lingering finish.
