ULTRAVIOLET 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma, California)

Samantha Sheehan is the woman behind ULTRAVIOLET - and she is a force. Born and raised in Napa, she wanted to make drinkable, ‘shareable’ wine that one doesn't have to feel "precious about" (her words.) Her answer to the prices Napa demands was to find organically grown grapes from sites in Mendocino County that have slightly higher altitudes and slightly cooler climates - much more similar in climate to Napa. The result has been very successful, making ULTRAVIOLET wines have an amazing price / quality ratio. Everyone who takes a bottle home comes back for more.  Round, full, and soft with black fruit, violet and spice notes.
