This wine-club selection is the 'little brother' of our Brunello di Montalcino. Made of Sangiovese - the premier red of Tuscany - blended with 20% Merlot, it is the perfect accompaniment to a weeknight meal.

The whole category of Toscana Rosso IGT wine is a world of great Tuscan wine that is just outside of the rules. Meaning, these are wines that are made outside of the rules of Chianti, Brunello etc. that determine grape varietals, ageing practices, and designated areas fruit may come from.  

Often, these are reliably delicious food-worthy wines that are made mostly of Sangiovese and are meant to be consumed young. We'd love for you to have this alongside pasta or pizza. And if you love it - come talk to us about climbing your way up the latter towards the Brunello.
