VIBERTI 2021 Dogliani Dolcetto 'Pubblicano' (Piedmont, Italy)

This is 100% Dolcetto from Dogliani, a small village in the southern part of the Barolo production area, has been producing high-quality Dolcetto since 1593 with DOCG status finally given in 1974. Long before Nebbiolo was the fan favorite grape of the Piedmont, it was Dolcetto. Red cherries & dark chocolate on the nose.  Juicy wine with plenty of chewy tannins to make this an age worthy. Perfect with pasta, braised meats, cheeses, and even dark chocolate.
